Club owners meeting with NPFL ends indecisive

 Club Owners Association with the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL meeting which is aimed at ratifying the proposed promotion of eight teams from Nigeria National League, NNL, to the NPFL ended indecisive, SportsWaka reports.

The meeting which was scheduled to start at 7pm at the Hotel Reno in Abuja began by 10:00pm Wednesday and ended early hours on Thursday (today) with no major conclusion.

Sportswaka gathered that the meeting will continue later today as they seek a final solution.

It could  be recalled that last week, the Nigeria National League in their Annual General Assembly meeting with the NNL club owners proposed the promotion of eight clubs to join the existing twenty NPFL teams.

According to the NNL resolution, twenty eight teams will participate in the 2018/19 NPFL season with twelve relegated to the second tier league at the end of the season.
