Bala Vows To Take Nasarawa Utd to Continental competition

The newly appointed Nasarawa United, ahead coach Bala Nkiyu, has vowed to take the Nigeria Premier League Club, to continental competition at the end of the league season. 

Bala he revealed that he’s not under pressure to deliver but his set target is to ensure that his team makes it to the CAF tournament this season.

“As a coach, once you are given a job you must have your very own personal target because everyone in life loves achievements and my own personal target is at least to return Nasarawa United back to the continent next season.”

On his first point of action, the coach revealed that he will only sit and watch his assistants do the job since he is only coming in a day to the opening match against Abia Warriors

“I will sit and watch as I believe that I have capable hands in my assistants as we will work together to achieve our common goal which is to play continental football next season,” he concluded.

On his part, Assistant Coach, Abubakar Arikya has thrown his full support behind the new gaffer stating that they have known each other for long and working together shouldn’t be an issue.

“I’m not disappointed in anyway as I have known Coach Bala for a very long time and working with him will definitely not be a problem,” he revealed.

Chairman supporters club, Comrade Abubakar Abdulsallam has equally backed the decision of the management as he disclosed that the teeming supporters of the side will give both the management and the new head coach the necessary support to take the side to the next leve
