NPFL: Rangers Host Tornadoes, As Remo, United Lock Horns in Port Harcourt

Rangers have a domestic duty to handle before starting the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday against Burkina Faso’s Salitas FC in Enugu.

The Flying Antelopes will seek to win their second match of the domestic season to improve their standing on the table, while their opponents Niger Tornadoes chase their first win after three draws in four games.

Newly promoted Bendel Insurance have also drawn all their three fixtures, while their hosts Wikki Tourists have won one of their three matches, losing the remaining.

For Remo Stars, who achieved victory in their first match under veteran coach Kennedy Boboye on Sunday against Katsina United, another test comes along the way in Port Harcourt. Hosts Rivers United are on same points with their second placed visitors, who have a superior goal advantage.

Group B: Yobe Desert Stars v Gombe United (4pm)

Yobe Desert Stars file out for their second home fixture of the season, one point behind Gombe United who have won one and drawn the other of their two matches on the road.

Group A: Wikki Tourists v Bendel Insurance, Rangers v Niger Tornadoes, Rivers United v Remo Stars (all 4pm)
