‘Why Super Eagles not good enough to win 2019 AFCON’

Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has downplayed the chances of the current squad under the leadership of German tactician Gernot Rohr to win the AFCON in Egypt.

Speaking in a telephone interview with brila.net, Siasia said Rohr’s team is a youth team and one for the future.

’The teams handlers are doing a great job with a very young team’ Saisia started.

’However, I don’t think the team is formidable enough to be African champions just yet’

Siasia who won the African Cup of Nations as a Player in 1994 in Tunisia has managed team but failed to qualify for the Nations Cup in 2017.
