The National Male and Female Senior Male Handball teams began their quest for qualification for the All Africa on a winning note with emphatic victories over host Bukina Faso.
The male team comprising of some of the players that participated in the just concluded IHF International Trophy Challenge in Kosovo, defeated host, Bukina Faso 25-21 in what was a nervy match.
The female team were even more ruthless in their approach as they inflicted a 34-29 victory over the Bukina Faso women team.
The national teams will seek to extend their winning streak in the competition on Wednesday as male team will play Benin Republic whilst female team will slug it out with Burkina Faso again in the second game as they are the only teams in the female category.
The competition is qualifier for the All Africa Games holding in Morocco later in the year.
