Be Fearless Aghahowa Charges Iwobi, Iheanacho, others

With the European season about to get underway, Nigerian players will return to the spot light across the continent, after a fairly decent AFCON 2019 campaign for most.

But the individuals must show hunger and fight to become prominent this season for their respectively teams says former Eagles forward Julius Aghahowa.

Aghahowa insists most need to improve to remain relevant at their club sides, boost their value and chances of moving to big sides.

Additionally, the former striker argues that progress for the Eagles will depend mainly on the form of players available for selection; urging them to raise their games this season.

“Well firstly they have to concentrate on improving themselves before thinking of moving to the big leagues.

“Personal improvement is key. They need to do more, they need to work hard more. This is the time for players to switch from national team to club football.

“You need to do very well with your club during preseason. Have regular shirt in your club so that you can improve well.”
