The newly employed coach of Heartland Football Club of Owerri, has been unveiled by the governor of Imo state Emeka Ihedioha.
It would be recalled that coach Fidelis Ilechuckwu ended his 13 year romance with the MFM FC of Lagos and pitched tents with Heartland FC of Owerri.
According to Ilechuckwu said, “a new environment, a new challenge. I just want to give my best to my new club. It was hard to say goodbye to MFM but it is what it is. They gave me a platform to flourish in my career and it is a place I will never forget, but it is time to move on”.
“Like I said, Heartland is a new challenge and I hope and pray fortune smiles on me in my new job.” He added.
The youngest coach in the NPFL concluded by saying, “work has resumed in earnest”.
