Chinonso’s goal takes Nigeria one step closer to Africa Games Gold

Nigeria U20 national team are now just one game away from securing either a gold or silver medal at the ongoing All Africa Games courtesy of a late strike from gangling striker Chinonso Emeka in their final group game against host Morocco .

The Brooke House Football Academy of England striker Emeka Chinonso’s 92nd minute strike was enough for the Flying to pick one of the semifinals tickets of the football event.

Morocco two goals came from penalties which were scored in each half but the never-say-die attitude of the Nigerian U20 made them to come back on two occasions to send the host packing.

Chinonso came in the second half to score Nigeria’s most important goal.
His all important goal has further underscore his fight for a starting place in the team.
Nigeria and Burkina Faso are through to the semifinals.
