Ahead of the prestigious international friendly match between Nigeria and Brazil, Super Eagles coordinator, Pascal Patrick, said the players would be going all out to make names for themselves.
Pascal, who spoke to to LEADERSHIP Sports on phone from the team based camp in Singapore said the players are ready to put their names in history books as they go toe to toe against the 5-times world champions.
“From the last training we held today the players have shown that they are ready to write their names in the history books in gold”.
“Because this is another avenue for the players to express themselves, which will further boost their career at their clubs level if they can run away with a victory against Brazil”.
It would be noted that the Copa American champions Brazil played a 1-1 draw against Senegal on Thursday in which according to Pascal the technical crew are working on the areas the team needs to improve on ahead of the heavyweight clash
“The technical crew are working hard to ensure the team put up an impressive performance, because we have a young players who are bend to deliver anytime they are call upon to represent their country”he added.
Twenty –three years and a couple of months after Nigeria spectacularly ejected Brazil from the Centennial Olympic Games men’s football tournament in Atlanta, Georgia at the semifinal stage, both countries clash in a much –anticipated encounter at the Singapore National Stadium in Kallang on Sunday.
