Tragedy was averted on Wednesday when Former ABS F.C Manager/ Coach, Folabi Ojekunle, escaped deaths in an auto crash along Ogbomoso area of Oyo State, Sportswaka.com. can reports.
The accidents which occurred at about 5:00pm when his Toyota camry car ran into a near by bush at Aburuka, along Oyo state express road.
Ojekunle, who was returning to Kwara State from a business meeting in Ibadan had earlier dropped off two of his business partners just before the accident.
Thankfully, the UEFA B license coach escaped unhurt from the accident, while speaking to Sportswaka.com Ojekunle commended the officers of the Nigerian Police Force and the people in the community for coming to his rescue.
He further urged the federal government to fix the deplorable state of the roads across the country.
“It’s Porthole that cause the accident, the next thing I found my self inside the bush, but I thanks to God I came out unhurt”
“I appreciate OC Gidado Abolarin and two of his colleagues, they are police officers who left their station at the other side of the road to come for my rescue”
According to him “Am very glad with the people of that community that came out in mass to help and to remove my car from the bush” he concluded.
