Mutiu Adepoju visits FCT Beach Soccer team camp

Ahead of the kick-off of the Abuja beach soccer tournament on 14th February, Ex-international Mutiu Adepoju (Headmaster) paid a surprise visit to the FCT Beach Soccer team at their training ground Jabi Lake Park Abuja venue of the upcoming tournament this evening.

The Ex-international on arriving at the pitch was welcomed by the FCT Beach Soccer Coordinator Mr Mahmud Hadejia who lead him to the pitch for proper introduction to the players.

The players who were fine-tuning their preparations for the tournament took time to ask the Super Eagles legend questions on what made him to have a lengthy stay while playing active football for the National team and what could help their own footballing careers.

On his response, Headmaster gave his secret on three major D`s Diligence, Determination, Discipline For you to be a very good player and to play this game for a long time, you need to be discipline to obey and listen to your coach’s instructions, be a determined player that want to move above whatever obstacle that maybe on your way and be diligent in your growth.

Adepoju who was part of the Nigerian team that finished second at 1989 World Youth Championship in Saudi Arabia lauded the initiators of the tournament while noting the importance of beach soccer at enhancing fitness level of footballers.

The coordinator of the FCT Beach Soccer tournament Mr Mahmud Hadejia extoled Mr Mutiu Adepoju for stopping by at the beach soccer camp just as he stressed the importance of such initiative in providing good players for the Super Sand Eagles.
