Lucky Omoluwa: Sports Has Lost A Rare Gem – SWAN

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Kaduna State chapter has described the demise of Chairman of Pinnacle Communications, Sir Lucky Omoluwa as tragic and unfortunate.

This was contained in a statement signed by its Secretary, Jacob Onjewu Dickson, circulated on Wednesday February 19, 2020, saying the Nigerian sporting sector has lost a rare gem.

“We received with shock and devastation the painful news of the demise of Chairman of Pinnacle Communications, Sir Lucky Omoluwa,” it states.

Kaduna SWAN said that his death is coming at a time that his impact on sports infrastructural development was in full swing.

“He single handedly brought back the shine to the Kaduna Golf Club where he served as a member of the board of trustees until his tragic death on Tuesday February 18, 2020,” it stated.

SWAN extended condolences to his family, staff of Pinnacle Communications, sports lovers and the Kaduna Golf Club.

“We pray that God lights up his path through eternity and pray he grants his family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

It would be recalled that the news of Sir Omoluwa’s demise broke on Tuesday morning, leaving several people who know him in shock.
