Why Europe Top clubs must sign Emeka Chinonso

Water FC of Abuja Emeka Chinonso nicknamed ‘Goal Alerts’ a member of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles squad to the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland also led the Nigerian striking force to the All Africa Games in Morocco where he was instrumental to the team winning the bronze medal.

At the 12th edition of the All Africa Games in Rabat, he scored a crucial goal against host Morocco that helped Nigeria book a place in the semi-final of the football event and ended the African showpiece as one of the highest goal scorers with three impressive strikes.   

The 6.9 ft tall Nigerian fastest rising star is currently being scouted by top European clubs especially in France and Belgium following his intimidating goal scoring records.

The 18year old, Chinonso, has been involved in all Water FC matches from November 2019 till date and played all ninety minutes in 16 games, scoring 26 goals with 16 assists for his Abuja based club.

Many are already liking him to the inform Borussia Dortmund young star Irling Haaland because of their similarities in height, goal-scoring prowess and good usage of the bad in the vital areas. 

“I want to thank God for this opportunity. Currently, I am very much in shape and I can play anywhere in the world be it Barcelona, Real Madrid because I have the skills and I believe in God that he will take me there” Chinonso told Sportswaka.com

“I play the same way Zlatan Ibrahimovic plays and I also follow Håland. He is a kind of players that knows the net. He is friends with the net. I want to be able to score goals at will like Haland,” he said.

Chinonso, further revealed that he’s looking forward to taking on the best defenders in Europe.

“Tactically, the defenders in Europe are very good and for me to triumph over them, I have to work harder,” he noted.

“Am looking forward to playing for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the nearest future”
