Air Warriors Hails Sunday Dare At 54

The Management and Players of Air Warriors Basketball Club of Abuja, has congratulated the minister of youth and sports development, Sunday Dare, on his 54th birthday today.

In a statement signed by the chairman of the Air Warriors, Abdulmajid, Solademi, noting that Dare has achieved great success in the youth and sport sector in the country just barely nine months in office while commending his support to the Abuja based basketball club.

“As we get to celebrate your 54-year birthday we can say with all sense of modesty that we should celebrate every birthday anniversary with prayers for us to thank Allah for all the blessings and the bounties He showered upon us,” he said.

“On behalf of the management and players of Air Warriors, I congratulated Sunday Dare on this special day. He has done well so far as the sports minister towards changing the fortunes of the Nigerian sports sector to that of the international best practices”.

According to the Air Warriors boss “We also want to thank the minister for his support to the Air Warriors team and his encouragement which inspired us to the win the 2019 women’s basketball league last year in Lagos”.

“We pray that Almighty Allah will continue to grant you wisdom and knowledge to discharge your duties in taking Nigerian sport to the next level ”.

Recall that the Air Warriors emerged the champions of the 2019 National Women’s basketball league in their debut season.
