Kano Pillars FC striker, Nwagua Nyima has revealed his toughest player and team he has ever played against in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Nyima, who spoke in an online interview on “NPFL Undiluted” WhatsApp Platform, disclosed Enyimba’s defender Ifeanyi Aneamena as his toughest player in the Nigerian top-flight league.
‘’The toughest defender I have ever played against in the NPFL is Ifeanyi Aneamena, who plays for Enyimba, also Enyimba is the toughest team in the league have ever played against ’’ he said.
The 27 year-old, Benue state born striker, further rates his performance in the 2019/2020 league season, having netted four times for the Masu Gida before the league was stopped due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
‘’I would rate my performance 70-per cent so far due to the fact that we still have a lot of matches to play before the end of the season, but am working hard to help my team succeed at the end of the season’’.
The former Lobi Stars forward, who has earned two national call ups to the home-based Super Eagles during the 2018 CAF African Nations Championship qualifiers against South Africa and Uganda, declared possessing the abilities to lead the Super Eagle attack if entrusted with the responsibility by Gernot Rohr.
‘’I strongly believe that I have what it takes to lead Super Eagle attack if I am given the opportunity with the trust and confidence of the coach’’.
It would be noted that, Kano Pillars are currently in 7th position in the NPFL table having gathered a total of 34 points from 24 matches.
