FG To Unveil Moshood Abiola Stadium Today

The federal government through the ministry of youth and sports development will today be unveiling and also the exhibition of the renamed Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja as part of activities to mark this year’s Democracy Day celebration.

According to the permanent secretary, ministry of youth and sports development, Gabriel Tanimu Aduda, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to perform the unveiling and would be accompanied by top government officials.

Recall that, June 12 was officially adopted by the federal government to immortalise the Late sports philanthropists and nationalist, Chief Moshood Abiola the winner of June 12 presidential election 1993.

It would be noted that the minister of youth and sports development, Sunday Dare, last week reaffirmed Dangote Group commitment to renovate the Moshood Abiola Stadium to international best standard.
