2019/20 NPFL: Kwara United Out Played All Opponents-Biffo

Head Coach of Kwara United, Abdullahi Biffo, said that, his led side out played all their opponents in the 2019/20 Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) season, before the league was halted due to the outbreak of coronavirus, Sportswaka.com can reports.

Biffo, while speaking as a guest in FCT Football Update Online platform, noted that despite the team were in relegation zone in the Nigerian top flight league, boosted that the Harmony boys’ performance was impressive.

“We played good football this season, but forget about where we find ourselves at the log, the only team that we labored to get the three points was with Rangers, and after the goal we defended to the end” he said.

“Every other team we played we out played them, but something we don’t get is the right result, but we will continue to work hard and am confident that next season Nigerians will see what we have been working on in the past”.

Biffo, who led the Ilorin based club to 19th position with 28points before the NPFL 2019/20 season was halted after match day -25 (win 8 draw 4 loss 13), revealed that the team will work tirelessly to ensure that they finish among the top four best clubs in the up coming season.

“We have noticed our lapse during the season when we took over Delta Force, am not a coach that bring 10 to 15 new players to the team, I have met with management we have agreed to bring in 5 players in the area we are having problems”.

“We working hard to make sure what happened this season will not repeat itself next season”.

He also noted that, his present players can fight for starting eleven shit in the Super Eagles team if given the opportunity.

“I have a couple of players in my team if they are given the opportunity they can fight for a place in the Super Eagles and they will make significant impact, but it’s left for the Super Eagles  technical crew to decide to call them” he concluded.
