Nigeria gets invite for Amputee Football International Cup

Nigeria Amputee Football Team has been invited for the 9th International tournament Amputee Football Cup in Poland.

The 9th International tournament Amputee Football Cup is scheduled to take place at the OSiR Bemowo stadium Warsaw, Poland from 19th to 20th September, 2020.

President of Nigeria Amputee Football Team, Suleiman Isah revealed that the Polish Amputee Football Federation intends covering the accommodation of the Nigerian team for two days, meal and local transportation.

Isah said, “The Nigeria Amputee Football Federation received a letter personally signed by the President of the Polish Amputee Football Federation, Bogna Czepulkowska inviting us for the 9th International tournament Amputee Football Cup.

The statement reads, “Over the years the tournament has become one of the most prestigious and important amputee football events in Europe. Each team will play at least three matches. The event will be held on 19th to 20th September, 2020 in Warsaw.

A preferable arrival is 18th September and a departure date should be scheduled for 21st. The tournament will take place on the OSiR Bemowo stadium at 11 Obroncow Tobruku Street in Warsaw. Participating teams will be accommodated at Holiday Park Hotel in Warsaw.

It further reads; “The Polish Amputee Football Federation will cover cost of the following; 1) accommodation for 16 person for two nights (18th and 19th); 2)meals for 16 persons from dinner on 18th September till lunch on 20th September and 3) local transportation including transfer from and to the airport and live stream of all tournament matches.

“The Nigeria Amputee Football Federation is expected to cover; 1) transport cost to Poland; 2) accommodation and dinner on 20th September- 45 Euro per person from the team and 3) costs of accommodation and meals for extra persons as well as extra day- 55 Euro person per day. The organisers will set deadlines for payment of cost and presenting airline tickets”.
