Newly appointed Chief Operating Officer of Nigeria National League (NNL) Emmanuel Adesanya, has vowed to rebrand the Nigerian second divisional league to attract cooperate investors .
Adesanya while speaking to newsmen in Abuja, yesterday stated he would be bringing his wealth of experience to fore, adding that all stakeholders would be carried along as they seek to place the league on the world map.
The astute football administrator who has earlier handled some department in the NFF among them are Head of Africa Inter Clubs and head Aiteo Cup also noted that the board would work tirelessly to ensure that the league gets the required sponsorship.
“We thank Bet9ja for partnering with the league before and we are looking forward to see them and other partners come and sponsor the league, because they already know the terrain and that can only happen with the help of NFF, stakeholders and the media”.
“We are looking at getting a sponsor for the league and see how we can be able to return the league to television. But first we must rebrand and reposition the league to make it attractive where we can bring people back to the stadium”.
‘Because what sponsors want on TV is for them to see the background and the noise that go with it. That is where advertisements can go with it and for them to get the needed mileage. The Covid-19 has given a new face of life but we just have to do with what we have and what we can get out of it”.
“Pray to God to get sponsors and when we do, we definitely knowing what is expected of us and ensure that things are moderately done. We will take it one step at a time”.
