The Bauchi State Football Association (BAFA) has joined Nigerians all over the world in mourning the death of Member of the Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Chairman of the Adamawa State Football Association, Alhaji Musa Duhu.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of Bauchi State FA, Patrick Pascal, MON, described the death as a huge loss to not just his family, but the entire Nigerian football fraternity particularly the Northeast.
The Bauchi state FA boss, noted that Duhu has contributed greatly to the development of the round leather game at the grassroot adding is fatherly advice would be missed by many.
Pascal urged families and entire football fraternity to find solace in God, he also prayed God to grant Alhaji Musa Duhu soul eternal rest and comfort his family.
“We at the Bauchi state FA and all the stakeholders in the state received the news of the death of Alhaji Musa Duhu with a heavy heart. May God grant his family the strength to absorb the impact of this death, forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds in the life after,” he said.
“Late Duhu was very close friend, a vibrate administrator, we shared ideas on how best to develop grassroots football in the Northeast, it so sad that we lost him, but we at the zonal level, we will ensure that we work hard to accomplish his vision”
The Bauchi state FA boss who doubles as the Super Eagles Coordinator said: “this is a monumental loss, his leadership qualities were never in doubt”.
late Alhaji Musa Duhu died on Saturday night in his home in Yola, after a brief illness. He was 53 as his remains of interred on Sunday afternoon according to moslem rites.
