Football fans across the country has called for the immediate sack of the Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr and has blasted the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick  and the Players following the Nigeria’s disappointing double-header draw against the Lone Star of Sierra Leone, in their Group L Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Amaju Pinnick and Gernot Rohr

The Leone Stars, who mounted a stunning fightback to draw 4-4 with the Super Eagles last week, put up another gritty display to frustrate their more illustrious opponents and deny them an early ticket to the AFCON finals.

Nigerians took to Twitter on Tuesday evening after the uninspired three-time African champions were held by Lone Stars in Freetown to express their anger while calling for the sack of the German gaffer, and for the total overhaul of the players and coaching staff.

The coach should be shown the way out. He plays over defensive too much.

I said it last week that this stupid super eagles will go to Sierra leone and still draw.. You people should better sack that coach and bring in a competent Nigerian that can handle that job..cause he’s white doesn’t make him better than Nigerian coaches..

Chukwuemeka  @ChuxEkere

All the players and Gernot Rohr should be ashamed. Super Eagles could not win Sierra Leone after two games. Tueh!

Arc AKAMS says #EndSARS @Chisommark

Genor Rhor isn’t a tactician. He’s not a coach. He’s best suited as a club or country chief scout. He doesn’t know how to use the players at his disposal. He’s just good at scouting good players across the world but doesn’t know how to use them and achieve results.

Abdulmajid Ataki @Majeed_Orume

We couldn’t beat Sierra Leone in two Games with these talented squad. Something is wrong with the Super Eagles and it need to be addressed ASAP

EmyBigshow @EBighsow

@PinnickAmaju Super Eagles are not progressing with Rohr as coach after 5 yrs. If we cannot beat Sierra Leone, how can we face the other top sides in Africa. We have 14 months to AFCON, sack Rohr now and hire a good coach dat can guide this talented team to glory.

Robinson Okudibie @ROkudibie

Super Chickens are what we have now as players, and not Super Eagles; our Coach, Genert Rohr, is a parental adviser and not a technical adviser; if you ask me, I think the Coach should proceed on sabbatical, in order to refreshing up, because, all his tactics are obsolete.

Uche @gregstyr

Its time to change the direction of the Coaching staff. We need a better technical bench. The Eagles will fly no better than this, with the Coaching leadership we have.

El capitán @iheanachoELL

Please sack Rohr, we have got the most talented team in Nigeria . But Rohr is not getting the best out of them for 4 years . An Amunike will do better.

URBAN_KING @Mannaman10

Shame on u… u can’t score a common goal make govnmnt give us money na problm, oya eagles win game, make we chop bet9ja… na stil PROBLEM, keep drawing till u fall..,Team9jastrongmyass….

Abodunrin Abayomi @fabulousyom

Pinnick should stop taking our matches as exhibition games. We need a home to play our matches. Enough of today Benin, tomorrow Kaduna. That must stop!

However, the result leaves the Super Eagles top of the standings on eight points, with Benin (seven), Sierra Leone (three) and Lesotho (two) all still alive as far as qualification for Cameroon 2022 is concerned
