“We wish to state categorically that GWG who are the rightful owners of HISL/HIFL trademark are yet to come up with their aggregate sports programmes for all Higher Education Institutions.
“These programmes will come in a way which suits developmental needs of combining sports with education.
“We therefore warn the unsuspecting public, universities and other tertiary institutions in the country as well as corporate organisitions against patronising or partaking in the illegal league,” he said.
Adejuwon added that GWG acquired HISL/HIFL under the Trade Marks Act (CAP 436 Laws Of The Federation of Nigeria 1990; section 22 (3) Regulation 65).
“This was registered in Class 41 Under No 110975 as of Nov. 21 of 2018min respect of education: providing training; entertainment; sporting and cultural activities,” he added.
